What tests should be done to make sure they work well? Well, A good quality socket head cap should pass the below tests:

Firstly, a dimension inspection which mainly covers the below lists:

  • Hexagonal Depth: 4.63mm-5.15mm
  • Screw Length: Vary from 1″ to 10″
  • Socket Head Diameter: 13.97mm-14.27mm

Secondly, Mechanical performance testing:

  • Min Tensile Strength: 1220 to 1420 Kfg/cm2
  • Rockwell hardness  C39 To C44
